SKIFF LANE 40mph Traffic Regulation Order -to go ahead

WSCC Highways have today confirmed that a 40mph speed limit will apply to SKiff Lane. Due to having to arrange a traffic management controls team to install the signage, a date has not yet been set for implementation.
This signifies a long process which began in March 2023 firstly for a 30mph limit  with a further application for 40mph submitted in the autumn of 2023 following the refusal of the 30mph restriction due to average speed data for vehicles exceeding this speed.
